The pool area is a beautiful place to relax. Well maintained with many places to sit. Tgis is the best part of the hotel. The exercise room has quite a few machines, but can feel crowded if a few people are working out. The guest rooms are quite large with a full kitchen (includes a stove top, but no oven). Here, it is great to be able to to make some meals as eating out in the village can be pricey. The balconies off the guest rooms are a nice place to relax, enjoy a drink or snack (ask for a room overlooking the pool, see below). The bathrooms are clean and updated, but I feel the main room floors, both in the kitchen/entrance and living areas could be changed. Also the hallways leading to the guest rooms could be more up to date. They felt dusty and a bit overused. I think this small change would meet the standard to what a Westin hotel should be.
This is our favorite place to stay when we're looking to escape the hustle and bustle of Toronto. The rooms are very comfortable and modern yet quaint. They are also very insulated so you don't hear any noise from the hall or adjacent rooms. The beds offer heavenly comfort. The pool is a great place to lounge at all day and you can bask in their huge hot bath as well. The location is perfect as you are situated right in the village. I just love this place and will keep coming back.
I had an amazing one night stay here while attending a conference for work. This is likely the best place you can stay in Blue Mountain, short of owning your own place. The room I had had a full kitchen with oven, microwave and fridge, two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a living/dining room and a fire place. The staff were friendly and hospitable, and ensured my stay was pleasant and comfortable. The rooms are modern and most have patio's attached to them, which is great especially if you're facing the lake and the village. Expect to pay Westin prices, a little on the steeper side, but totally worth it if you're looking to relax and re-charge. Great for families, travellers and those attending conferences. They have an O&B in their lobby which has a nice bar as well as a great menu. Parking is underground and can be done valet style or self park. Highly recommend and would stay again!
The staff were incredibly helpful. They gave lots of tips of what to do in the area, looked up times of attractions for us, and were very quick to bring us requested items. The rooms were well stocked, clean, and spacious. Great location and a very wonderful stay. Can't wait to go back!
I stayed here with my husband for our honeymoon trip and we were thoroughly impressed! Perhaps because it was a weekday during down season we were upgraded to a suite, got free parking and late check out. The resort was nice and quiet and we had a great time using the hotel's pools and sauna. The rooms were new and clean and we have no complaints! We were also welcomed with a nice treat and card which was very thoughtful of the hotel! They really knew how to make our honeymoon sweet and memorable! The hotel staff were very kind and friendly and my husband and I have decided that we will come back to the Westin to celebrate our anniversary!
