I took my girlfriend here, we are both really into ping pong and when we went in, it was empty and we were able to play ping pong! We are not drinkers but the bartender/waitress asked us to buy drinks in order to use the table. This is reasonable and fair! The reason I am leaving a 1 star is Because after paying for the drinks the waitress (taller, more full looking blonde girl) told me "Yeah this isn't going to work". I asked her why and she said " You have to leave me a tip!". The place was empty, she was on her phone the whole night and all she did was open a beer can for me. I thought it was very disrespectful and it looks very unprofessional. I ended up leaving a tip because she refused to give me the drink I paid for unless I tipped her. Definitely not going back here!
Smash has potential as a night club but the ping pong is kinda odd. If you were to turn the ping pong tables into beer pong tables, you would definitely get more business. Also, instead of your hours of operation being 10pm-late maybe actually have a time. I tried to come to the college party and on the invitation it said THIS FRIDAY with no date. I showed up at 1:15 and the entire place was closed. I was very disappointed when I arrived to find everything shut down!
$17 a drink?! Really?! Terribly small and REDICULOUSLY over priced. TAKE WARNING!! DO. NOT. SPEND. MONEY. HERE. my bedroom is bigger and the price for a drink is insane. Never ever ever ever coming back.
